Requirements of Membership
1. Any Arab citizen, male or female, who is over 18 years old, may join ASCA (Jordan), provided that s/he meets the following conditions:-

S/He should enjoy his complete civil rights.

S/He should be of good conduct and behavior.

S/He should be recommended by a registered member or by a member of ASCA (Jordan) Board of Directors.

S/He should agree in writing toabide by the Articles of Association of ASCA (Jordan).

S/He should be a member of one of the following professional associations:
- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (London)
- The British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales
- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland
- The Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Ireland
- Jordanian Association of Certified Public Accountants
- Any other professional association approved by ASCA (Jordan) management .
2. S/He should be a holder of PhD degree in Accounting (accepted by ASCA (Jordan)) or should have practical experience of at least two years in accounting or teaching in a university or institute for a period not less than the above period.
3. Applications should be submitted on the form approved by the Board of Directors which has the full right to accept or reject an application without indicating the reasons.
4. The Board of Directors of ASCA (Jordan) may grant the title of fellow member to the founding members of ASCA (Jordan) or the members whose membership in ASCA (Jordan) or in any of the professional associations referred to in Item a/5 of this Article lasts for at least five years.
5. The Board of Directors of ASCA (Jordan) may accept honorary members of the Society in accordance with the established rules, provided that those members will not have the right to vote in elections, nominate for administrative positions in ASCA (Jordan) or use the title of Certified Arab Accountant which is restricted to members only.
6. The Board of Directors of ASCA (Jordan) may accept members from among the nationals of any Arab counrty, provided that they satisfy the conditions set forth in item (a) of this Article.
