Training Courses Conducted in December 2022

AMMAN - The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA - Jordan) held in December 2022 the following training courses:

1. The Specialized Digital Training Course on the VAT for the Arab States of the Gulf
The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA - Jordan) held a digital training course entitled "Value Added Tax for the Arab States of the Gulf" through the Microsoft Teams App. The main objective of the course is to prepare the trainees to become tax experts in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The course covered all the legislations as well as the taxes and accounting treatments, in addition to the most recent updates related to the registration of companies in the field of accounting and tax consultation in these countries. At the end of the training, e-certificates of attendance were given to all participants, who in turn emphasized that the course has effectively met their practical needs in this area. 

2. Intensive Digital Course on IFRS 15" - Riyadh Office
The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA - Jordan) held an intensive digital training course entitled "IFRS 15" for a group of employees from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Global (TAG.Global) - Riyadh's office. The training aimed at introducing the reasons behind issuing the IFRS 15 and explaining the accounting requirements related to revenue and the methods of measuring the realization of the various items of revenue, in addition to introducing the various disclosure requirements. This is to compare them to the common recognition requirements of revenues. The training also aims at introducing the recent amendments to IFRS 15 and how to apply them practically to ensure that the participants can understand and apply the standard in practice.
