AMMAN - The International Arab Society of Certified Accountants (IASCA) held several training courses in September 2022, including ‘IT Audit’ and ‘International Arab Certified Public Accountant (IACPA)’, conducted through Microsoft Teams.
The ‘IT Audit’ course aimed at developing the practical experience of the participants in the areas of IT auditing, as well as introducing them to the risks of IT systems and the controls to limit such risks. The auditor’s role in the audit and evaluation of information were also highlighted, as well as enabling the participants to prepare audit programs using IT systems that help them perform the audit tasks. Moreover, practical cases were also conducted.
For “IACPA”, participants from various parts of the Arab region attended the training course to obtain this officially recognized certificate in a number of Arab countries for the purpose of practicing the accounting and auditing professions.
During the courses, various topics were discussed, including:
