ASCA(JORDAN) Releases the Arabic Translated Version of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 2007

AMMAN- The Arab Society of Certified Accountants (ASCA JORDAN) released on October 22, 2007 the Arabic translated version of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) 2007.
The handbook includes the following:
- New standard —IFRS 8(Operating Segments)
In addition to four new (IFRIC) Interpretations International Financial Reporting Interpretations Committee:
- IFRIC 9 Reassessment of Embedded Derivatives o
- IFRIC 10 Interim Financial Reporting and Impairment
- IFRIC 11 IFRS 2 —Group and Treasury Share Transactions
- IFRIC 12 Service Concession Arrangements.
- IAS 14 has been superseded by IFRS 8.
